After being raised on our family ranch in the Sandhills of rural Nebraska, I attended National American University in Rapid City, South Dakota, entertaining the big dream of becoming a lifelong rodeo cowboy. However, my courses in economics and finance uncovered another passion. The never-ending amount of information to be learned quickly revealed to me that the field of investing was my calling.
I was extremely fortunate that my finance professor secured an internship for me at Waddell & Reed. This turned into a profession in the spring of 2005. Since that time, I have been providing individuals and businesses with investment, insurance, financial, and estate planning advice.
I am continually thankful for my wife, Jena, and her steadfast support. In my free time, I enjoy rodeo, ranching, spending time with my family, and helping young people learn to rope.
